*: Continue on Route 191 North about 6 miles to the junction of Route 590 at Hamlin corners (this is the first traffic light you will encounter). Turn right at this junction onto route 590 East. Continue on 590 for about 2 miles. At about this 2 mile mark, watch for a small pond on the right and a large pond on the left. Immediately past the small pond, there is road that bears off to the right. This is Goose Pond Road (called SR3008 on some maps). Also just before the small pond is a green and white road sign. The bottom line on this sign indicates Goose Pond to be to the right 6 miles. Make this right turn and follow this rural road for about 6 miles. Do not turn off this road at all. Just before the camp there is a Y in the road. Keep to the left at this Y.
The main gate entrance to camp is just up the road a few hundred yards on the left. (About another
120 yards past the main entrance is the service road, Applegate Lane, entrance used for weekend camp,
also on the left.) All vehicles associated with Summer Camp should park in the “Day Parking” lot
(Shale Pit) located on the right, just after the Y as you approach the camp. Depending on what activity
you are attending at Goose Pond will determine where you should park. Refer to specific activity
information or watch for staff direction or parking signs.
