COPE Adventures at GPSR

Spend a weekend like no other at Goose Pond Scout Reservation experiencing the dynamic rush of C.O.P.E!

Our fully-accredited and award-winning COPE course consists of initiative activities, low course elements, high course events, and a 50 foot climbing & rappelling tower. Adult leaders and youth who are 13 years or over from Boy Scout Troops, Explorer Posts & Venture Crews can participate in this incredible experience. COPE programming is structured to allow your Unit to camp, while being immersed in a full program of COPE activities. Special 1-day or half-day programs are also available by prior arrangement.

A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is due upon making your reservation. All BSA camping and leadership standards apply.

Fees: $40.00 per participant for the weekend Deposit of $100.00 required for reservation. Minimum of 8 participants is required.

Each COPE participant MUST have a current completed BSA medical form upon arrival at camp, must be at least 13 years old, and must be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America. Leaders need to have secured written permission from parents for all youth participants.

Upon receiving your COPE application, your contact information will be sent to the COPE Director in charge of your weekend. The Director will then contact your group leader to answer questions, review the weekend programming and help you plan an awesome COPE event that best suits your Unit. Project COPE Reservations: An open site camping reservation at Seneca campsite is included with your COPE reservation and fees, however, cabin reservations are an additional charge and must be made separately at the Council Service Center.
